About me
My name is Orsolya Amanda Kustos, and I am an abstract painter. I was born in Celldömölk, Hungary, and I currently create my art in Budapest. Since my teenage years, I have lived in the world of art, which continuously inspires and shapes me. Painting, for me, is like love: sometimes gentle and intimate, other times passionate and unpredictable. I adore minimalism, the delicate, clean lines that resemble a calm, embracing moment. Yet, at times, wild dynamics burst forth from me, with a cavalcade of colors and forms, akin to the turbulent emotions of a lovers' quarrel.
Creating art is an exciting journey for me: at times slow and deliberate, other times wild and unpredictable. One day, I paint fine lines; the next day, I conjure colorful chaos on the canvas. This contrast makes me who I am – the meeting of tranquility and wild passion.
Art is a universal language that connects people, a language everyone understands. Non-figurative creation gives me the freedom and grand gestures to truly express my feelings. My paintings reflect this unique duality. Among them, you will find some that almost whisper and others that nearly shout. In life, I am the same: I love quiet, peaceful moments, but sometimes I need a bit of chaos to truly be myself.
